34 Percent Of Economists Expecting Recession In 2021, Survey Finds

More than 30 percent of economists anticipate the U.S. economy will fall into a recession at the end of 2021. 

According to a National Association for Business Economics survey, 34 percent of economists believe the recession will hit in 2021. 

Ninety-eight percent of respondents said the recession will hit sometime after 2019, the report found. 

A majority of the economists surveyed said the U.S. monetary policy is “about right” but expressed concerns about fiscal policy.
