Special Dee-livery: Albie Goes Shopping to Help Feds During Shutdown
By Erin Thibeau
Albie Dee went on a Safeway shopping spree Wednesday to load up on shelf-stable items for the Capital Area Food Bank.
Every Saturday during the partial federal government shutdown, CAFB is holding free pop-markets around the DMV for furloughed workers. With a valid government or federal contractor ID, up to 500 people at each of the eight locations can receive produce and groceries.

If you're a government worker affected by the shutdown, stop by the next Saturday pop-up market near you.
Thank you to the Capital Area Food Bank and Safeway on King Street in Alexandria for helping government workers in need!
