Virginia Recognized As Top State For Business in 2019

Virginia’s workforce, education and business friendliness earned it a spot atop CNBC’s list of America’s top states for business in 2019. 

It’s the fourth time in the last 12 years that Virginia was deemed the best state. 

The study evaluates businesses in every state using more than 60 metrics categories such as workforce, economy, cost of doing business and quality of life. 

It found Virginia has the fourth-highest concentration of STEM workers and boasted 2.8 percent economic growth in 2018. 

Texas, North Carolina, Utah, Washington, Georgia, Minnesota, Nebraska, Colorado and Ohio rounded out the top 10.
