'Alexa, Delete Everything I Said Today': Amazon Updates Privacy Measures

Amazon has finally taken the next steps with privacy features for Alexa.

The latest update will make it simple for users to to delete voice recordings saved by Alexa-enabled devices, according to a press release.

Users can now say “Alexa, delete everything I said today” and have all of the recordings deleted from 12 a.m. that day until that current moment, WTOP reported.

A future update will also allow users to say "Alexa, delete what I just said.” and have their most recent request deleted.

Privacy features were also introduced to the new Echo Show 5, which has a microphone/camera off button.
