Residents across Montgomery County will donate old and and unused bicycles and parts to benefit the greater community on Friday. Montgomery County Department of Transportation will sponsor an annual  bicycle and parts collection in collaboration with Rockville Bike Hub and Bikes for the World.

Donors can drop off bikes at outside Montgomery County Council Office Building parking garage in Rockville, Maryland. Donations will be accepted until 2 p.m.

Children's bikes and adult bikes will both be accepted. Rockville Bike Hub will then repair and restore the bicycles to be used by children and low-income residents, according to AP.
