Maryland City Ranked As One Of Worst For Singles

A Maryland city was recognized as one of the worst in the country for singles. 

Columbia, Maryland appeared at No. 177 on WalletHub’s list of the best and worst U.S. cities for singles. Five cities received a lower rating. 

The District was ranked favorably at No. 27. 

Atlanta was deemed the best city for singles, and Pearl City, Hawaii was ranked as the worst. 

The outlet compared more than 180 cities across 35 indicators of dating-friendliness. 

About 45 percent of U.S. adults aren’t married, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. 

The report also found the average date costs $102.57.
