Many Facebook users could be in for unsolicited phone calls in the near future.

A data breach has left nearly 419 million user accounts vulnerable to a phone number leak, according to TechCrunch.

Phone numbers were left on an unprotected server with 133 million records on U.S.-based Facebook users, 18 million records of users in the U.K., and more than 50 million records on users in Vietnam, Forbes reported.

Users are now at increased risk for spam phone calls and SIM-swapping attacks in which a hacker can reset passwords on any internet account linked to a phone number.

A Facebook spokesperson said that the data leaked prior to the social network's recent privacy update.

“This data set is old and appears to have information obtained before we made changes last year to remove people’s ability to find others using their phone numbers,” he said. “The data set has been taken down and we have seen no evidence that Facebook accounts were compromised.”
