The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking the public’s feedback on proposed safety improvements to a three-mile stretch of Route 50.

The agency is conducting a study regarding improvements to the portion of the highway between Jaguar Trail and Wilson Boulevard. It’s exploring improved traffic signal timing, turn restrictions, turn lane improvements and pedestrian enhancements.

Drivers can fill out an online survey or attend a meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Falls Church High School.

The study, launched through the Strategically Targeted Affordable Roadway Solutions program, is scheduled to be finished in the spring.
