You Can Visit White House Gardens Free This Weekend

D.C. locals and visitors this weekend will get the chance to explore the White House gardens. 

The gardens will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

The Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, White House Kitchen Garden and Rose Garden be open. The event is free, and visitors can obtain tickets through the National Park Service near the entrance starting 8:30 a.m. both days. 

The entrance is located at the intersection of Constitution Avenue Northwest and 15th Street, the White House said. 

One ticket will be issued per person. 

The White House recommends viewing the list of prohibited items on the property before entering.
