Flash Back Friday: 1982 Made You Love Rock 'n' Roll

Back in 1982 Meryl Streep had an award winning performance in Sophie’s Choice, David Letterman was just starting out on Late Night and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts spent seven weeks on top of the billboard charts.

The hit “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” had that catchy chorus and always made you want to "put another dime in the jukebox."

It debuted at number one in March and reigned on top all the way until May.
