Hunt's Recalls Tomato Paste Due to Potential Mold

April 5, 2019

You might want to check twice before opening a can of Hunt’s Tomato Paste.

Conagra is recalling its six ounce cans of Hunt’s Tomato Paste No Salt Added because of mold. The company said the product could have been damaged after it was placed in cans, creating the potential for mold growth.

Affected products have UPC 00-0-27000-38807-5 and a best by date of Oct. 16, 2020. Conagra said customers should either throw the item away or return it to the store where it was purchased.

The company notified the FDA of the recall.
