You could be one of Amazon’s first employees at its new Arlington headquarters.

As it prepares to move employees into a temporary office this summer, the company posted its first series of job postings. Amazon is currently seeking global category managers, a financial analyst and a human resources specialist.

Ardine Williams, Amazon’s vice president of workforce development, said in a blog post the company is “ahead of schedule and on pace to create 400 new jobs this year and a total of 25,000 over the next decade plus.”

“Since the beginning of this year, the Amazon team has been working with community members, educators, and state and local experts on how to increase the talent available in this region to make Virginia an even more attractive destination for innovators large and small,” Williams wrote.

Williams wrote Amazon is planning to post additional jobs soon. Amazon’s permanent Northern Virginia space is scheduled to open this fall.
