Delta Airlines Sends Relief To The Bahamas

The people of The Bahamas are continuing to adjust to a new normal following the devastating effects of hurricane Dorian.

Delta airlines has begun providing supplies to survivors through relief flights.

One flight went out on Sunday morning loaded with 4,700 pounds of supplies including non-perishable food items, diapers, water, formula, underwear and socks.

Delta employees also helped to deliver supplies and evacuate 72 people from Marsh Harbour to Nassau.

The airlines has scheduled two more relief flights for Monday morning and Monday afternoon out of Marsh Harbour to Nassau.

Delta customers can aid the relief efforts by providing donations on the Delta website.
