The National Building Museum Brings Everything You Love About Summer Indoors

The National Building Museum has announced it 's 2019 Summer Block Party installation.

All of your favorite summer activities will all take place on the "Lawn."

The "Lawn" installation, which is a collaboration with LAB Rockwell Group will be featured in the Great Hall of the musuem complete with greenspace and a blue sky mural.

It will include interactive activities for all ages such as hammocks fitted with speakers so you can relax and listen to recorded audio of various American storytellers, scheduled yoga and movie nights, and virtual reality game that turns the hall into the perfect place to catch fire flies.

The installation will be free for all National Building Museum Members and tickets can be purchased at $16 for adults, $13 for children, students and seniors, and $10 for military adults.

Members can go online to get their free passes starting June 18 and general admission will be available starting June 25.
