St. Patrick's Day 2019: Where to Find the Best Deals in the D.C. Area

Despite the fact D.C.’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade was cancelled this year because of rising security costs, there are still plenty of things to do around the District this holiday weekend.

From drink specials to brunch parties, here are some St. Patrick’s Day deals throughout D.C.

Barcode

Barcode is offering both a brunch and day party Saturday. The $40 brunch is available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and includes a select menu and bottle of house champagne for each party of two. The day party will start at 5 p.m. and conclude at 10 p.m. The special drink menu includes an Irish Car Bomb, Jager Bomb, Boiler Maker and Leprechaun Cocktail.

Beckett’s

Samuel Beckett’s Irish Gastro Pub is opening its doors at 9 a.m. Sunday to begin the celebration. The pub will feature live music, Irish dancers and performances by Aidan Croke, Ciaran Quinn, The Boyle School of Dancers and The Shamrockers. The restaurant doesn’t list specific food or drink specials but says there will be “plenty of pints.”

From 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., 618 will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday with $2 green beer, $4 Guinness, $6 Jameson shots and $8 Irish Car Bombs.

Cloakroom

Cloakroom is offering a $200 St. Patrick’s Day package Sunday that includes complimentary entry for up to four people. The deal, which is valid between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., also includes half a bottle of premium liquor and eight domestic beers.

Cloak & Dagger

Cloak & Dagger on Sunday will host a whiskey and wings party that includes drink specials until 7 p.m. The bar will serve free wings to customers wearing green, and entry is free for everyone who RSVPs.

Rock & Roll Hotel

For the first time, the Rock & Roll Hotel is offering a St. Patrick’s Day party on Sunday. Admission ranges from $5-$10, and the doors open at 3 p.m. for a 4 p.m. show. The party will include live performances by M4TR, High-Brid Band and SUFI Hamilton.

Rosebar

Rosebar is kicking off its St. Patrick’s Day festivities with a Jameson open bar. Entry is free until 6 p.m. with an RSVP. The celebration starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

Scarlet Oak

Scarlet Oak is celebrating by offering $5 Jameson shots, Jameson infusions and Jameson cocktails on Sunday. Customers who RSVP will receive a free shot or cocktail with the purchase of a Scarlet Oak small plate. Anyone who tries all four Jameson spirits will get to pick something from the restaurant’s Jameson swag bag.

The Bottom Line

The Bottom Line is hosting Kegs & Eggs starting Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Until 3:30 p.m., the restaurant will celebrate with food and drink specials, which include green eggs and beer.

Wunder Garten

From Friday at 4 p.m. to Saturday at 1 a.m., Wunder Garten will offer Guinness Blond, Smidicks Irish Ale and Magners Cider on draft for $8. Guinness Stout in pub cans will also be $8. Irish Car Bombs will be available for $12, and DJs and Live Bands will featured all weekend.
