The NBC series that kept you laughing is hoping to pay it forward for the next generation.

"The Office" is now taking on children's literature.

In a recent tweet, The Office Twitter account introduced fans to the new book "The Office: A Day at Dunder Mifflin Elementary."

"A new generation of #TheOffice fans starts here," the tweet reads, along with a book cover illustration of mini Michael, Jim, Pam, Dewight, and Kelly in a classroom setting.

The book is written by Robb Pearlman and illustrated by Melanie Demmer.

This time the gang is dealing with Michael Scott the Line Leader.

"Michael Scott is Line Leader at Dunder Mifflin Elementary! It’s a very big job, but Michael is sure he can live up to the “World’s Best Line Leader” title printed on his water bottle. There’s just one problem–Michael doesn’t know how to lead the line," the book description reads.

While the book hasn't been released just yet, you can keep an eye out for it this October.
