Here's something new to add to your list of must-tries while you're spending more time indoors: virtual happy hour!

No, this isn't just a zoom conference chatting with friends over drinks, but a much more involved and interactive experience brought to you by Happied.

Happied is an app that connects users with happy hours going on around D.C., but with the limitations now in place on gathering in bars and restaurants, it's getting innovative.

For a $10 ticket fee, users can enter an interactive happy hour, complete with a host, bartender from one of several bars or restaurants around the city.

"You’ll learn how to make cocktails from some of the best restaurants and bars in DC, meet other fun people, and support the bartenders bringing you liquid joy every day," the website says.

Getting a lil bit stir crazy? Wishing you were at a lit brunch right now? Missing wild Happy Hours at Provision 14? This Wednesday, we’re bringing you an At-Home Happied Hour hosted by Cynthia from @provision_dc so come support a fab local bartender and learn how to make some-- cocktails! Click the link in our bio to grab a seat at the virtual bar! . . . . #happyhour #happyhourdc #socialdistancing #supportsmallbusiness #dcrestaurants #cocktails #virtualhappyhour #happyhourathome #cocktailsdc #supportdc #supportbartenders #dmvsupport #dcfoodie #mydccool #bythings #bythingsdc #washingtonian #dcathome #stayhome #stayhomedc
