What You Need to Know about the Capitol Hill Classic

D.C.'s oldest and largest 10k is kicking off this weekend.

The 40th annual Capitol Hill Classic will run past the U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, Lincoln Park, the Supreme Court and the Folger Shakespeare Library.

Three separate paths are included in the race making it accessible for the entire family.

There's the 10k 

The 3k

And the Fun Run.

Each race will be held on Sunday May, 19 and start and finish at Peabody Primary School, located at 425 C St NE. 

Race times are listed on the Capitol Hill Classic website as follows:

10K race start: 8:30 AM

3K race start: immediately following conclusion of 10K (approximately 10:30 AM)

fun run start: immediately following conclusion of 3K (approximately 11:00 AM)

The race is held as an annual fundrasier for Capitol Hill Cluster School.
